Jeremy Hamby

Jeremy HambyJeremy K. Hamby (Cherokee/Mississippi Choctaw) joined the Cherokee Nation Office of the Attorney General in 2016 as a recent law school graduate. Jeremy serves as an Assistant Attorney General and is currently assigned as counsel for the Cherokee Nation Office of Child Support Services. Jeremy represents the Nation as the prosecuting attorney in both tribal and state child support proceedings.

Prior to law school, Jeremy worked for the Cherokee Nation Indian Child Welfare. His time working in child welfare is what influenced him to become an attorney so he could better serve his tribe.

Jeremy is currently the secretary of the Muskogee County Bar Association and served as treasurer for the Native American Law Students Association.
