Chad Harsha

Chad Harsha, Assistant Attorney General I 

Chad Harsha (Cherokee) joined the Cherokee Nation as Assistant Attorney General in 2015 and represents the Nation on civil litigation matters in tribal and state court.  He also serves as in-house council for various departments and entities of the Nation with an emphasis on transactional law, environmental programs, and administrative matters.  

Prior to joining the Cherokee Nation Attorney General’s Office, Chad served as Assistant Attorney General of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation and as a litigation attorney in private practice. Chad has also been appointed to an eight-year term as Supreme Court Justice of the Pawnee Nation and currently serves as Secretary of the Cherokee Nation Bar Association.
